I’ve recorded seven albums with Randy. Photographs was the first one. Of all the albums I have made with Randy, Photographs has the songs I like the most. Ken Kraft wrote all but three of the songs and produced this album. Playing with Randy over the years has been a solid routine in shared musicianship among a group of us here in Santa Cruz. Randy had a way of bringing us together that wasn’t complicated. It was collaborative and just simply comfortable. It must have been good because I did it for twenty years.
