Thank you to everyone who gave their time and stories to help us build this site. Behind what you have read are hundreds of hours spent unpacking a life of 77 years. We combed through memorabilia, resurrected instruments, recorded the voices of the past and remembered decades of details from tour dates to basses played. During this process we contacted photographers and musicians from Denmark to Denver and back to California and Hawaii. And, we have only shared a portion of what we’ve found.
Music is not created in isolation. When you hold an album in your hands or a song in your mind, you are also holding generations of life experience and artistic partnership. Below are the names of people who made sharing this slice of my story possible.
