The Redneck has a satine (or bloodwood) finger board which has a really smooth feel to it. The top of this bass is satine with an ash back. I played this bass with Keith Greeninger on three different occasions. One of those was at The Rio Theater in Santa Cruz in 2023. This was a performance with Keth, Nina Gerber on lead guitar and Jimmy Norris on drums.This bass just feels good to play.
